There are two types of remotes available with Roku Streaming Player. These are:

·        Standard IR Remote.

·        Point anywhere Remote.

1. Standard IR Remote: It used the Infra-Red (IR) light to transmit the signals of remote keys. Standard IR remotes only work, when they are a point directly to the Roku Streaming Player. Make sure that there should no any object between the receiver and Standard IR Roku remote control. If there is, any object between the Standard IR remote and Roku device remove it immediately otherwise remote cannot work properly.

·        Now the pairing dialog box will appear on the screen. 

·        Go for the new Remote: Purchase a new remote if you think the remote is not working now.
